A Boerboel is a trustworthy, obient, atletic, calm and intelligent dog with a strong urge to protect. He bonds to all members of the family and knows exactly who belong to him. He wants to protect all members of the family; that's why he's a fine watchdog. He's self-assured and has no fear. A fine dog requires a master with a natural predomination.
